Jeff Sargent LTC Director & LTA Professional Instructor ltc@lsparts.org; 706.882.9909

Jeff has had a life-long passion for the arts.  With experience spanning 40 years, Jeff is an actor, singer, carpenter, painter, director, and teacher.  Jeff has worked with several college and community theatres throughout Georgia and has participated in multiple vocal ensembles throughout the state.  With the LSPA, Jeff is a member of the Theatre Advisory Board, and has been involved with the Lafayette Theatre Company since 2002 as a performer and director.  Jeff’s teaching experience includes 4 years teaching general music, 2 years directing high school chorus, and 7 years directing a high school theatre program.  Jeff also served as Fine Arts Department Chair while teaching high school.

Jeff currently serves as the music and theatre teacher at Springwood School. Jeff is married to Valerie Longshore-Sargent. He has two daughters, Diana and Jenna, who are his pride and joy
